Control Room Operator

Job Title: CCTV Operator – Night Shift
Location: The Broadway, Bradford
Hours: 42 Hrs per week. 4 on 4 off. 1900-0700
Salary: £13.60 / Per Hour

• Coordinate team responses to incidents reported to the control room.
• Ensure timely action on all critical alarms.
• Utilize available technology to maintain building security and communicate any suspicious activity per standard operating procedures.
• Promptly report and record all incidents during your duties, ensuring efficient resolution.
• Escalate incidents to Emergency Services as needed and record all incidents on site DOB.
• Prevent unauthorized access/egress through Service Yards.
• Maintain strict procedures for the removal of goods.
• Conduct internal patrols using CCTV.
• Ensure full compliance with site policies and procedures as per Assignment Instructions.
• Monitor personnel access and egress, respond to breaches, and manage all emergency systems and evacuations efficiently.
• Administer, issue, and return all keys, radio communication equipment, and BWC; assist in access card production.
• Gather and utilize intelligence from police teams and other sources, creating and maintaining updates for the security team.
• Maintain the integrity of security systems.
• Comply with data protection guidelines regarding the disclosure of personal and confidential information.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy at all times.
• Refer queries to the shift supervisor as needed.
• Secure all security access cards

  • Demonstrable proactive and professional approach to security.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and also as a member of a team
  • Experience in working within a team as well as on your own – essential
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and policy
  • Retail experience preferred but not
  • Previous experience within a similar role.
  • CCTV SIA Licence essential
