An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit 1.0 WTE Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to our well established Speech and Language Therapy Team which provides a service across Hull and East Riding. This post is for anyone interested in developing their clinical skills working with children with a range of communication needs within mainstream settings, special schools, pre-school and clinics.

access support through the preceptorship academy and clinical supervision
access internal training packages
be proactive in the Organisation's quality improvement agenda
be an advocate for Speech and Language Therapy through an established Allied Health Professionals Network
Post pandemic, we have developed a hybrid model with opportunities for working from home and in bases offering a work -life balance for staff well being.
To deliver high level, quality care and evidence-based interventions in line with local and national guidance within identified clinical area
To deliver SLT intervention in both autonomous and multidisciplinary working
To plan, provide and evaluate interventions within an identified clinical area
To participate in the delivery of service specific training as required
To support identified support workers
To undertake administrative duties as required
To manage a caseload, including self-directed planning and time management within identified clinical area
