As a Technical Implementation Consultant in our Professional Services team, you’ll be responsible for deploying our solutions, guiding customers through successful implementations, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to specification
Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
- Project Delivery & Execution
- Lead and participate in project kick-offs and discovery sessions.
- Provide technical expertise to support the installation, configuration, and optimisation of software solutions.
- Guide and direct customers through their project responsibilities, ensuring a smooth and structured delivery process.
- Execute project work in a professional and structured manner, adhering to best practices and processes.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless handoffs, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all project milestones are met and formally signed off by customers.
- Technical Expertise
- Work with databases (SQL Server and/or Oracle) to execute configurations, migrations, and troubleshooting.
- Provide hands-on support for system integrations, data validation, and workflow configurations.
- Develop and maintain deep product expertise to advise customers effectively.
- Client Engagement, Training & Communication
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring their needs are met while maintaining project scope.
- Provide structured progress updates, flagging risks and escalating issues proactively.
- Identify opportunities for customer training and proactively deliver sessions to enhance user adoption and system efficiency.
- Manage customer expectations effectively throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Other Responsibilities
- Participate in post-project reviews to ensure lessons learned are carried forward.
- Travel to customer sites as required (up to 30%).
- Be available for unsociable working hours during key project phases.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Database expertise – Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle (writing queries, troubleshooting, data migration, data cleanse etc.).
- Customer-facing skills – Experience working directly with clients, managing expectations, and resolving challenges.
- Problem-solving mindset – Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and drive solutions.
- Flexibility – Willingness to travel and work unsociable hours during critical phases.
- Professionalism in execution – Strong understanding of structured project delivery and best practices.
- Nice to Have
- Background in financial software or experience in the finance sector.
- Familiarity with system integrations
