Annual salary: up to £36,500.00 Multi Skilled Operative Bradford Salary up to £36,500 per annum Permanent, Full time, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Mears provides temporary accommodation to asylum seekers whilst their claim is being assessed in three regions: Northeast, Yorkshire and Humber, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. At the end of May 2021 Mears had over 19000 service users across the three regions. Mears work in partnership with central and local Government, registered providers, tenants, landlords and investors to find solutions to homelessness, provide more social and affordable housing and create specialist housing for people with care needs About the Role: Due to contract expansion, we are seeking a Multi Skilled Operative here in our Wakefield branch. As a Multi Skilled Operative your main duties will include repairs and refurbishment activities to our occupied accommodation properties delivering best in class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards. The main role will be to complete general repairs on homes including changing doors, taps, baths and fixing radiators. The successful candidate will be completing varied property maintenance tasks and carrying out property inspections Role Criteria:

• NVQ level 2 in a core trade
• Experience and knowledge in 2 other trades
• Plastering, Joinery and Plumbing experience would be an advantage
• First Fix attitude
• Excellent communication
• Team player and ability to work alone
• Flexible and willing to travel

As part of the recruitment process for this role, we will carry out a DBS & BPSS check, as well as Security Clearance.
