Ernest Bold Adult Short Break Service

The role provides overnight short breaks for people with a learning disability aged 17 upwards, aiming to promote independence through various opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with learning disabilities to maximize their potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and professionals to deliver high quality services.
  • Ensure flexibility and responsiveness to service priorities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Social Care or equivalent.
  • Completion of mandatory training.
  • Satisfactory DBS check.

Working Arrangements:

All council roles have fixed, field, or flexible work styles. Roles can be agile, allowing a blend of home and council office work to maintain work-life balance.
