We are looking for an exceptional early career individual based in the UK to become an important part of our small, yet audacious Marketing team.

The Marketing team at EF exists to demonstrate that, for the world’s most exceptional and ambitious young technologists:

The team strives to build a brand which is magnetic to, and trusted by, the world’s most exceptional and ambitious young technologists. They do this through centrally driven campaigns and channels (including EF website, social media, alumni newsletters, events), and by empowering team members across all sites to leverage and build the brand attractively and effectively in their everyday work.

Our marketing approach is designed to only appeal to the most exceptional founders. Our campaigns, for instance, are specifically targeted and highly selective, as opposed to being broad-reaching, volume-driven, or PPC-based.

What you'll do

In this role, you’ll have the chance to get hands-on experience across multiple areas of Marketing.

Content & brand marketing:

  • Collaborate with the Talent Investors in EF’s sites (Bangalore, London, Paris & the US) to help deliver global brand campaigns for key moments in the EF calendar such as Demo Day.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders (such as Talent Investors) in every EF site, to ensure they are equipped to be effective field marketers of EF, empowering them to effectively leverage and build the EF brand in every customer interaction.

Social media marketing:

  • Help plan and execute a global social content strategy across EF’s social media channels (Twitter/X, LinkedIn and Instagram) which will challenge exceptional young technologists to think beyond the status quo, make the first steps of the founder career path legible, while simultaneously positioning EF as the best place in the world to start the founding journey.
  • Help monitor and track engagement for these posts to understand how to intelligently optimize them for best results, including getting buy-in from TIs and stakeholders to repost and raise awareness in alumni networks.

Marketing operations:

  • Work closely with the local teams in EF’s sites (London, Paris, Bangalore and the US) to set up application and contact forms and improve the way we handle customer enquiries.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Curious about our customer: You have a demonstrated interest in technologists and technology startups. You can appreciate and understand the exceptional founder mindset and integrate yourself within their communities.
  • A self-starter: You should feel comfortable motivating and working independently, proactively identifying what needs to be done to achieve an end goal and executing on it. You will receive hands-on management and input where needed.
  • A doer: You aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done. You understand when to make the call to find leverage through others and when you just need to get stuck in to get something done.
  • Attentive to detail: You have exceptional written and verbal skills, with high ownership and commitment when it comes to attention to detail.
  • Collaborative: You thrive in environments that require you to build strategy and make decisions in collaboration with a multitude of stakeholders.
  • Ambitious: You hold high expectations for yourself and expect the same of others. You typically set the performance bar higher than your peers, and aren’t afraid to do whatever it takes to achieve your goals.

Additionally, you should:

  • Be fluent in English.
  • Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Have a strong academic background and a proven track record of consistently striving for excellence.
  • Have some experience in marketing, design, or content creation — ideally within a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Have some experience with (or a track record of being a quick learner) tools like Canva, Figma, Notion, Airtable. Experience making effective, scrappy UGC content with video editing software (e.g. CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar) is a plus.

This role is not for you if:

  • You want a structured 9-5pm job with high oversight and clear responsibilities - working in a fast-paced company like EF requires a scrappy, proactive, and flexible mindset, as we evolve our processes to best serve our customers.
  • You want a slow ramp up and time to find your feet before being given responsibility. We’ll equip you with what you need to get started, but doing well in this job will involve diving headfirst and being hungry for responsibility to make an impact fast.
