El Pastor is a small group of Mexican taquerias in London, inspired by the decade the founders spent in Mexico City, running a cult nightclub and searching for the city’s best taco al pastor. We pour our hearts into top quality authentic produce, making fresh tortillas daily using heritage corn and working directly with suppliers and cooperative farmers in Mexico. We are proud to have been awarded a Star by the Sustainable Restaurant Association.

This ethos is felt by our teams, who understand the journey of the ingredients and how important they are to the dishes they serve. El Pastor is deeply invested in sourcing the most wonderful mezcals and tequilas and making every day a fiesta.

The Host Role

• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant team with good knowledge of reservation systems
• Confident and warm communication with team and guests
• Exceeding guests’ expectations at all times
• Good knowledge of our menus, ingredients, and allergens
• Be the face of the brand known for its warm welcome and guest care
• Positive and welcoming personality
• Strong command of the English language
• Strong team ethic showing respect for your colleagues
• A passion for hospitality and your own development is a must
