About the role:

Everway is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive product development and implementation, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives. In this role, you will define and prioritize product features, create and communicate product roadmaps, and work closely with cross-functional teams (including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support) throughout the product lifecycle.

You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing customer and stakeholder feedback, conducting market research and competitor analysis, and monitoring product performance metrics (KPIs) to inform data-driven decisions. A key aspect of this role is providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize product requirements for DSA solutions based on market trends, customer feedback, and business objectives.
  • Drive product innovation and collaborate with the UX Research and design teams to ensure the product maintains a leading position in the market.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals for the UK DSA market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product delivery.
  • Manage the product backlog and contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile methodologies.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders across the organization, including leadership, engineering, sales, and marketing.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, incorporating their feedback into the product development process.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.

Essential Criteria:

  • 3+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of delivering successful products.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking skills to understand market trends and customer needs and inform product decisions.
  • Solid understanding of technology and the software development process.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Good understanding of business principles, including revenue models, market positioning, and competitive landscape, and use this information to make informed decisions about the product roadmap.
  • Experience with prototyping and user-centred design.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Education software specific knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the UK Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) system and marketplace.
  • Experience in developing assistive technology solutions for users with disabilities or neurodiversity.
  • Strong understanding of user experience principles and best practices.
  • Creating and visualising project plans and managing timelines.
  • Experience with product management and analytics tools (e.g. ProductBoard, Confluence).
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior team members.
