NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHS GGC) are looking to appoint a Band 7 Nurse Team Leader for the Paediatric Continence Service. This is an excellent opportunity to be a leading this team of Nurse Specialists to provide streamlined care to this patient group.

20% of your working week will include back to the floor working within a clinical area which can be arranged with your team leader. Your primary responsibility will be providing comprehensive holistic assessment, care and support of children and young people with continence needs referred to the service. These needs are for patients with night time wetting and constipation.

Our vision will focus on service provision for Continence for children and young people and you will support prioritising safety and professionalism grounded in evidence based practice.

We are seeking an experienced nurse who will embrace this dynamic opportunity. The post holder should possess knowledge of the management of patients with continence. They will be required to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team. This will involve working across professional and organisational boundaries in partnership with other acute and community care nursing and medical staff, allied health professionals and senior management teams. The applicant should possess the ability to prioritise fluctuating workloads, remain focused, and be flexible in an extremely busy environment.
