Maintenance Person - £12.70 per hour

Working Hours: 37.5 Hour Contract working in both Wood House and Springbank.

Locations: Springbank - BS10 6SP, Wood House

We seek a Maintenance Person for Wood House and Springbank. The role involves maintaining our Home and grounds, ensuring safety and functionality. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the exterior of our building and grounds.
• Coordinating building works and refurbishments with minimal disturbance to residents and staff.
• Routine monitoring and repairs on all systems, liaising with the Home Manager for specialist repairs.
• Conducting regular tests and checks, including on boilers, fire alarms, and water systems.
• Advising the Home Manager on potential maintenance problems.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations to maintain a safe environment.
• Ensuring safety and cleanliness meet Environmental Health and Fire Safety standards.
• Maintaining and storing tools and equipment safely.
• Acting as a primary contact for staff repairs and assisting with staff induction regarding safety procedures.
• Providing emergency support as needed.
• Assisting with driving the Home’s minibus for residents’ outings.
