Job Description
Associate Business Change & Transformation Consultant
Strategy+ is AECOM’s Management Consultancy team. We assist clients to make sense of complexity, articulate their challenges and deliver solutions that improve their performance. We craft innovative approaches and offer guidance in planning and executing transformational changes.
We are recruiting an Associate Business Change & Transformation Consultant to join the UK and Ireland team.
As Associate Consultant, you will lead client engagements, providing expert advice and guidance to drive strategic initiatives and deliver measurable value. This involves working with leaders to design and implement tailored change and transformation solutions that achieve desired objectives.
You will be responsible for delivering quality and cost agreements and reporting to an Associate Director. Depending on the project, you could be the sole lead, leading a team, or part of a larger multi-skilled team.
Responsibilities:
- Invest time with clients to understand their needs and existing operations.
- Build strong trusting relationships with stakeholders, providing expert Change and Transformation advice.
- Plan and deliver strategic change initiatives achieving desired business outcomes.
- Monitor progress and adjust approach as needed to ensure success.
- Produce and present high-quality information.

Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- Emotionally intelligent and self-aware in different situations.
- Well prepared, able to pivot and adapt in complex scenarios.
- A leader in your profession, responsible for delivery or as part of a collaborative team.
- A systems thinker, understanding problems at a macro scale.
- A good communicator, able to articulate ideas in text and speech.
- An experienced facilitator, gaining insights or consensus from conflicting perspectives.
- A mentor enhancing team knowledge of change and transformation approaches.
- A proficient networker identifying opportunities for growth.
Experience:
- Certified practitioner through PROSCI or APMG or membership of a relevant professional body.
- Experience leading complex change and/or transformation within a consultancy or in-house team.
- Sector experience in infrastructure, especially aviation, rail, defence, energy, water or highways is desirable, but not mandatory.
