A 1-year fixed-term, part-time position has arisen for an experienced Dietitian to work with the upper GI and oncology service.

This well-established post offers opportunities to further develop the service.

The successful applicant will be a source of clinical expertise for Dietetic colleagues and will actively contribute to the training of student Dietitians and the supervision of junior staff.

As an integral part of the Upper GI Oncology Multidisciplinary Team of Specialist Nurses and Consultants there will be exciting opportunities to be part of new developments across the division. The post will provide dietetic input to acute oncology and surgical inpatients.

The post holder will join a team of 17 full and part time Dietitians.

The department is committed to providing a quality service, promoting evidence based practice, audit, CPD.

There are opportunities for training and development and clinical supervision together with regular journal clubs and study sessions.

With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.
