The difference you will make as a Project Manager

You will oversee cladding remediation works within our organization. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for working alongside our Employer’s Agent, contractors, and Resident engagement team to ensure the prompt and high-quality delivery of major works.

You will be responsible for carrying out regular site visits, checking on delivery progress, ensuring our residents are kept informed and engaged, updating our IT systems and ensuring good record keeping of all works related to cladding remediation across various sites during works and until project completion, including handover of information to other internal teams.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Qualification in Project Management, Prince 2 or equivalent
  • Qualification in construction management is desirable
  • Proven experience as a project manager, overseeing construction or building renovation projects or major works projects, particularly within cladding remediation. Experience in managing high value and complex projects ranging from £5m to £18m
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Purpose

To oversee cladding remediation works within our organization. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for working alongside our Employer’s Agent, contractors, and Resident engagement team to ensure the prompt and high-quality delivery of major works.

You will be responsible for carrying out regular site visits, checking on delivery progress, ensuring our residents are kept informed and engaged, updating our IT systems and ensuring good record keeping of all works related to cladding remediation across various sites during works and until project completion, including handover of information to other internal teams.

This role requires strong leadership skills, along with the ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Travel is required depending on sites.

Role Requires You To

  • Oversee client obligations for design process meeting approved fire specifications
  • Carry out various site visits and report findings, and ensure that any post-visit actions raised are executed in an appropriate and timely fashion
  • Ensure works are completed in line with approved design and specifications
  • Support site-set up and site logistics
  • Monitor on going CDM compliance on all project and Building Safety Act requirements (if relevant)
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project completion dates.
  • Monitor progress and work as part of a team to assess risks to delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders, keeping them informed about status risks and milestones.
  • Represent the organization in meetings, negotiations, and discussions related to cladding remediation projects.
  • Ensure residents are kept up to date, working alongside the Resident Liasion Officer and Riverside’s communications team.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress and other related project related records.
  • Monitor contract and commercial obligations within the contract
  • Manage, alongside the team, all budgets and contract sums of the project and minimise overspend
  • Produce regular reports for senior management, summarizing project progress, risks and achievements.
