Full Stack Engineer

Hybrid - 2dpw in office, the rest from home!

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll be expected to lead and coordinate as part of a team, producing work that meets high standards. You should be able to draw on your experience in all areas of the Software Development Life Cycle to research new technology, hold necessary meetings and planning sessions, perform QA, and ship new features.

You are a champion of best practices and lead by example in all aspects of the role, continuously improving the collective team. You will be expected to collaborate with and support your peers with a positive and empathetic attitude, while also being open to the suggestions of others.

Required skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing modern web applications with PHP, Laravel.
• 2+ years of experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
• Proficiency working with relational databases
• Comfortable using automated testing tools and writing tests – experience with common testing frameworks is required.
• Excellent communication skills

Advantageous:

• Experience with cloud providers and a variety of services (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift).
• Previous experience working for a start-up or building SaaS products.
