Tax Specialist

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Specialist to join my clients team in their Leeds offices on a hybrid basis.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintaining relationships with clients, working closely with them to obtain relief from inheritance tax as well as mitigating any increased exposure to inheritance tax going forward.
• Dealing with ten year and exit charges and planning around these as they arise.
• Advising trustees on the level of income distributions and any tax repayable.
• Preparation of the firm’s Trusts Accounts and tax returns as well as ensuring compliance with HMRC.
• Dealing with HMRC inquiry work as it arises.
  
  

Work Experience & Requirements:

• Experience with Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, Trusts and Estates including the preparation of Trust Accounts.
• ACA, ACCA or CTA Qualified.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of tax advisory experience.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills
• Good teamwork skills
• Time management skills
• Strong IT abilities
