Student Enterprise Coach

Here at Sheffield Hallam University we are recruiting for a Student Enterprise Coach. The role of Student Enterprise Coach provides specialist Business and Enterprise Skills advice and coaching, ensuring high-quality support for students, graduates and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include service development and delivery, providing operational support to the daily management of the iLab business incubation space, participation in collaborative networks and projects across the university, and promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in the work we do.
The role is central to the delivery of a bold and innovative enterprise service offer to our students and graduates. This involves the design and delivery of innovative curricular and co-curricular activities that support enterprise skills development, business start-up and scale-up.
The range of activities includes:
- Enterprise events and competitions
- Interdisciplinary enterprise programmes that drive product and service development
- The delivery of the Work for Yourself Sandwich Placement
- Enterprise skills development activities within modules
- Business start-up / scale-up support
You will have experience of designing and delivering enterprise skills development activities that will inspire an audience - ideally in a higher education setting. You will also have an understanding of how business incubation spaces operate.

You will be contractually enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) one of the largest and most generous defined benefit pension schemes in the country.
