ROLE PURPOSE
The Strategic Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting the operational capability & capacity planning at the UK & EU Distribution Centres. The role will also provide key business reporting; identify and execute continuous improvement activities across the OTC process & measure performance against critical milestones to ensure initiatives & launches are a success. Supporting the Strategic Supply Chain Manager, cross functional collaboration with wider business units (Sales, Finance, Products & Planning) are essential to the success of this role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Providing extensive reporting and analysis of the E2E supply chain, using system driven accurate data, to manage the supply chain, including orders, inventory, SLAs, & general “Health of Business” metrics.
- Supporting with the data collection and preparation of both the Chase and Glidepath reviews. Stepping in to lead the glidepath reviews in the absence of the Strategic Supply Chain Manager.
- Delivering fulfilment forecasts across DC’s, balancing capacity, capability & resource to level workloads.
- Preparing and sharing short & medium term capacity plans across sites, highlighting capacity crunches or significant swings to site leaders in time to react.
- Identifying CI initiatives throughout the E2E fulfilment process, partnering with multiple departments as needed to drive results.
- Focusing on removing non-value add / waste activities from the E2E supply chain.
- Actively participating in strategic projects focusing on longer term capacity and capability requirements for EMEA (i.e. Rhenus EDI).
- Extensive cross functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, Product & Planning and DC operations to optimise the seamless flow of clean customer orders through to delivery OTIF.
- Supporting the Strategic Supply Chain Manager.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- E2E supply chain experience.
- Self-directed, detail oriented, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple tasks whilst demonstrating a customer service mindset.
- Excellent professional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint and ideally ERP/MRP systems.
- Analytical skills, with experience of producing timely and accurate reports to internal key stakeholders.
