Healthcare Assistant

You will need to be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, especially under pressure. You will work alongside the clinicians in the provision of patient care. You will undertake and record measurements of height and weight, urinalysis, blood pressure, recording of ECGs, venepuncture, Flu and Pneumonia vaccinations, B12 injections (all under Patient Specific Directions and only if already competent to do these injections post HCA training). You will have excellent organisational skills and time management is a critical requirement.

You will also have a caring, empathetic character, which we view as being essential. It is very important to have a 'can do' attitude to support your colleagues.
