Equans is looking for a Caretaker to join our team working in Blackburn Central High School, BB2 3HJ. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £24,979.50 - £25,500.00 per annum depending on skills and experience and benefits package.
Shift times
Monday to Friday
2 week rota
Week 1 06:00- 14:00. 30 minute unpaid break.
Week 2 14:00-22:00. 30 minute unpaid break.
For this role you must undergo an Enhanced DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.
What will you deliver?
Responsible for the day-to-day management of the school premises with respect to caretaking services, together with establishing a close working relationship with the school and community groups. Ensure that all services are provided to a consistently high standard. Assist the Area Supervisor in meeting the requirements of the Project Agreement

- Experience of providing general cleaning and security duties and basic maintenance of buildings and associated plant and systems
- Experience of supervising the work of others
- Experience of caretaking within an educational environment
- GCSE / O Level Mathematics and English or equivalent
- Relevant trade or vocational qualification
