Our client, a leading innovator in semiconductor technology, is seeking a Principal MMIC Engineer to join their team. Specialising in RF, MMIC, and microwave semiconductor solutions, they work on cutting-edge projects in critical communications, satellite systems, and network infrastructure.

The Role As a Principal MMIC Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing next-generation compound semiconductor ICs and modules. This is an exciting opportunity to work with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to high-impact projects while enhancing technical capabilities within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop MMICs and RF/microwave modules for both internal and client-driven projects.
- Lead the design, layout, and evaluation of RF components in a hands-on role.
- Provide expert technical guidance to project teams and clients.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to enhance the team’s knowledge and capabilities.
- Support business growth by engaging in technical marketing activities and identifying new opportunities.
- Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline or physics.
- Experience in MMIC design within a commercial environment (GaAs or GaN technologies).
- Proficiency in Keysight ADS, Microwave Office, or similar RF design tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts effectively.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Hybrid working (typically 4 days in the office, 1 day WFH).
