Play a vital role in connecting the organisation with the communities it serves. This position focuses on building relationships, increasing public awareness, and ensuring that Future Frontline’s initiatives effectively address community needs.

The Community Engagement Officer plays a key role in strengthening relationships, amplifying community voices, and ensuring Future Frontline’s programs create real change. Key Areas of Impact Stronger Community Connections – Builds trust, fosters inclusivity, and ensures community needs shape decision-making. Increased Awareness & Participation – Engages diverse groups, raises awareness, and removes barriers to access. Enhanced Program Effectiveness – Gathers insights to refine programs, ensuring they remain relevant and impactful. Volunteer & Stakeholder Engagement – Strengthens volunteer networks, partnerships, and long-term community support. Measuring & Showcasing Impact – Collects data to demonstrate success, secure funding, and influence future initiatives. Long-Term Impact A more engaged, empowered, and connected community, with sustainable programs that drive lasting social change.

What will you be doing?
Key Responsibilities Community Outreach & Relationship Building Develop and maintain strong relationships with local communities, organisations, and stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for community members, ensuring their voices are heard and needs are addressed. Program Development & Delivery Assist in designing and implementing community-focused programs and events that align with Future Frontline’s mission. Collaborate with other teams to ensure initiatives are impactful and inclusive. Advocacy & Awareness Represent Future Frontline at community events, forums, and meetings. Raise awareness about the organisation’s mission, services, and opportunities through campaigns and public engagement. Volunteer & Stakeholder Engagement Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support community projects. Work with partners, sponsors, and funders to enhance engagement and sustainability. Monitoring & Reporting Collect feedback from the community to inform program improvements. Prepare reports on engagement activities, impact, and areas for development.
