About The Role

Responsibilities Of a Maths Teacher
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5.
- Monitor, assess and record student progress effectively.
- Support individual learning needs through differentiated instruction.
- Contribute to the school’s academic success and inclusive ethos.
- Take part in departmental planning and meetings.
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE, QTLS etc.).
- A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics for the UK school-based curriculum.
- experience teaching secondary maths across UK schools.
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
