Newport City Council is seeking to appoint enthusiastic, reliable and trustworthy individuals to work as Casual Caretaker/Attendants within our Community Centres. Post holders will be responsible to the Community Centre Manager in the efficient operation of Community Centres.

Duties include opening and securing centres, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, preparing rooms for events and activities and ensuring that centres operate safely by adhering to health and safety procedures, including CoSHH.

The postholder will need to be able to work flexibly across our NCC managed community centres including evenings to 9pm and potentially weekends.

The post holder will also be expected to be mobile and ideally hold a full driving licence.
