About The Role

As marketing assistant for Wealthtime you’ll help deliver a range of client communication, project and campaign initiatives. You’ll support the marketing team in executing various marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence, generate leads and drive customer engagement.

You’ll work closely with teams across the business including, client services and customer experience teams to deeply understand the needs of our clients, working collaboratively with the other members of the marketing team to deliver a range of activities and campaigns alongside the management of BAU activity, and ensuring all literature is up to date and reflective of the brand. products, and platform. Ultimately you’ll help the business to deliver against its goals and maintain a compliant suite of literature.

Additionally, you will develop and deliver clear engaging communications across multiple channels to ensure our employees are informed, aligned, and motivated.

You should be commercially minded, all our activities need to generate new leads and support new client acquisition, increase the value of our existing relationships and increase brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities below give a taste of what you could be involved in over time.

  • Update and maintain company literature and records to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Own and manage third-party marketing tools and analysers, ensuring they are effectively utilised and integrated into marketing strategies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, and web.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, blog posts, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics and provide insights for improvement.
  • Internal comms creation and management including intranet, email comms, invites, events and activities to deliver the overarching Internal comms plan.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for marketing collateral, advertisements, and promotional events where appropriate.
  • Support the organisation and execution of webinars, workshops, and other marketing events.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the investment industry.
  • Update the company website with relevant content and ensure it is optimised for SEO where appropriate.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with key stakeholders to communicate key company messages
  • Manage internal communication platforms ensuring content is relevant and up to date ensuring brand voice and messaging is consistent across all channels
  • Gather employee feedback and measure communication effectiveness and implement necessary improvements
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing marketing calendars, and maintaining marketing databases.
  • You will act as a brand guardian within the business
  • You will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities that fall within your capabilities as directed by management

About You

Specialist Skills, Qualifications And Experience

  • Experience and working knowledge of marketing tools and mechanisms such as Google, retargeting activities, affiliate marketing, CMS (such as WordPress) and marketing automation tools (such as HubSpot) would be preferable but not essential.
  • Experience of creating campaigns and content that focuses on different stages of the sales funnel i.e. brand awareness, acquisition of new targets and existing client base would be preferable but not essential.
  • Understanding of financial promotion principles and processes desirable.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce would be advantageous
  • Experience in internal communications, corporate communications or a related field desired but not essential
  • Strong story writing, editing and story telling skills
  • Proficiency in communication tools like outlook, MS Teams and company intranets desired but not essential
  • Experience of working with a range of investment and pension products would be advantageous
  • Experience of working in the investment/adviser industry beneficial
  • Proven experience of measuring the effectiveness of marketing activities and evidence of continual improvement
  • An outstanding eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships and networks – happy to engage with stakeholders
  • Ability to work well under pressure, to manage multiple workstreams and to be able to deliver to tight deadlines
