We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Executive to work on a hybrid basis, two/three days from our HQ in Coventry, Warwickshire/West Midlands and the remainder working remotely from home.


Joining a vibrant, thriving and experienced team, this role supports the delivery of an exciting, multi-channel marketing programme to drive consumer demand for products grown and reared in Britain by our farmers. We are looking for a marketeer with some previous experience (paid or voluntary), who’s enthusiastic about British food, and passionate about social media marketing. Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with internal teams, external suppliers and stakeholders to deliver impactful marketing activities
  • Support social media activity, such as helping develop new content, curating content, co-ordinating influencer activity, encouraging engagement and spotting trends/inspiration
  • Assist with website projects, such as writing new copy, and uploading new content
  • Co-ordinate the creation of printed resources, such as recipe leaflets, farmgate banners, and stickers, and manage the online order form and stock levels
  • Support colleagues with desk research relating to specified topics such as, recipe costing or competitor analysis
  • Support colleagues with administration duties, such as meeting minutes, co-ordinating invites, budgetary monitoring, and co-ordinating customer requests/queries
  • Suggest process or creative improvements, and assist in the development of new ideas and approaches
  • Establish and maintain an understanding of the target audience and marketplace
  • Liaise with experts when communicating food, nutrition, sustainability, and farming messaging, to ensure accurate, evidence-based messaging that’s effectively positioned for target audiences
  • Assist in the documentation and verification of regulatory claims and evidence related to campaigns
  • Ensure brand integrity across all marketing outputs
  • Enthusiasm for food promotion is very welcome


Essential Criteria

  • Some previous experience (paid or voluntary) in a consumer-facing marketing role would be beneficial, particularly if in a generalist or social media role. Enthusiasm for food promotion is also welcomed
  • A marketing degree or professional qualification is desirable, but not essential
  • A clear communicator with excellent written English skills is essential
  • Customer service orientated with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, and the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Skilled project co-ordinator, with good time management, and organisational skills
  • Proactive, able to take ownership of tasks and demonstrate initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in tasks and deliverables
  • Willing to develop and embrace new ways of working that drive efficiencies and effectiveness
