About The Role:
Working as the Head of Transport, you will be responsible for overseeing the transport operations within the division, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and compliance. This role will lead the centralised transport function, optimising fleet utilisation, maintenance, and overall transport strategy to support business growth and operational excellence

Roles and Responsibilities
Qualifications and Training
In-depth knowledge of transport regulations, compliance, and safety standards.
Strong financial and budget management capabilities.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desired or Progression Opportuntities
Degree in Transport Management, Logistics,
Business Administration, or a related field
Strong track record in leading and developing transport teams.

O Licence Holder: Ensure compliance with Operator Licensing requirements and oversee regulatory adherence
Desirable
Proven experience in a senior transport or logistics role.

- Strategic Leadership: Help develop and support in delivering the group transport strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and sustainability objectives.
- Fleet Management: Oversee fleet operations, ensuring optimal utilisation, maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline transport processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure full compliance with transport laws, regulations, and company policies while promoting a strong safety culture.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Drive the adoption of green transport solutions, including fleet electrification and fuel efficiency programs.
- Budget & Cost Control: Manage transport budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high service standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth transport operations and continuous improvement.
- Technology & Innovation: Leverage data and transport technologies to improve fleet performance and reporting capabilities.
- Leadership & Team Development: Provide strong leadership to the transport team, engaging a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
