We’re a high-growth HR-tech startup, building and selling software that helps in-house recruitment teams attract, hire, and onboard the right talent. Today, we have a strong foundation in place, with a mature product, strong product-market fit, and happy customers.
We’ve been intentional in our approach to AI, ensuring it aligns with our product vision and delivers real value. Now, we’re ready to take the next step—expanding our AI capabilities to stay competitive and elevate the hiring experience for our users. To do that, we’re looking for an AI Product Engineer to take the lead in implementing AI-powered features that enhance our product.
The fine print (but way more exciting):
- This is a remote UK-based role with occasional in-person meetups throughout the year. Our headquarters are in Jersey, UK, and we’re a growing team of 80, including 20 in our Product & Engineering team, spread across the UK, US, and EU.
- We’ve already launched a handful of AI-powered features using third-party APIs, but we have a pipeline of high-impact features we’re eager to explore next. You’ll be a key player in researching, designing, and implementing them.
- You’ll be our first engineer focused primarily on AI integration, so we’re looking for someone who can not only build solutions but also define best practices and guide AI adoption across the product.
- This isn’t a traditional AI Engineer role—you won’t be building models from scratch. While model customization will be part of the job, the majority of your time will be spent designing and implementing AI-powered features that make recruiters’ lives easier. You’ll take AI technologies and turn them into practical, high-impact tools that improve hiring workflows.
- We’re not interested in AI for AI’s sake—every feature needs to be practical, effective, and focused on streamlining hiring workflows, reducing manual effort, and enhancing decision-making. Our goal is to help recruitment teams manage candidates more efficiently, personalize communication, and extract valuable insights.

About the Role
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven features that enhance recruiter workflows and decision-making
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align AI-powered features with user needs
- Evaluate, fine-tune, and integrate third-party AI models (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face) into our SaaS platform
- Define best practices and workflows for integrating AI into a high-growth SaaS product
- Contribute to the design and evolution of our AI infrastructure, including model selection, training, and evaluation
About You
- Experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in a SaaS or product-focused environment.
- Experience working with LLMs, NLP, and ML pipelines to power user-facing features.
- Strong Python skills and experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Familiarity with LLM fine-tuning, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Practical experience deploying AI models into production environments and optimizing for performance and scalability.
- You’ve taken AI from concept to production—your work has been shipped and used by real customers.
- You’re pragmatic—you know when AI is the right tool and when a simpler solution is better.
