Finance Assistant Required

To provide support to the Nurseries and existing Finance team by participating in Sales Ledger and Purchase ledger activities for our group of companies. You will also provide cover to other team members for any absences and give support to the Finance Ledger Manager as and when required.

Systems currently used are Sage 200 and Famly.

The role is a hybrid role with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our Basingstoke support office

What will you be doing?

  • Allocation of nursery payments
  • process parent refunds
  • dealing with payment queries
  • send out chaser reminder for overdue nursery fees
  • processing invoices in a timely manner
  • Credit card reconciliations on Pleo
  • Assist in the completion of bank reconciliations including investigating timing differences
  • Participating in month end and year end tasks as required and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Adhoc tasks as required
