Stores Person / Stores Manager

CMDP+ is looking for a Stores Person / Stores Manager to join our Southern Water Framework. MWH Treatment and Costain Group are part of the CMDP+ joint venture that will deliver a range of construction schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water’s water supply and wastewater treatment works within the South and Southeast regions.

• Receive deliveries, unload and store appropriately
• Notify site team when deliveries arrive
• Maintain assets register of all CMDP owned and hired plant
• Maintain stores inventory
• Weekly plant meeting with commercial team
• Collect delivery tickets - scan and email to commercial & delivery team
• Sign tools in/out when required for use by site team
• maintain PPE stock list & request top up orders as required.
• Issue PPE as required & keep record
• Maintain PUWER & LOLER Register
• Cleaning of stores and compound
• Manage skips for site waste (timber, plastic, steel & general waste). including arranging exchanges as required
• Manage COSHH waste collections
• Manage COSHH register
• Collection of materials as required from local suppliers using site pick up
• Daily inspections of SHE stations around site, ensure all is correct and all consumables topped up.
• Manage site fuel & adblue deliveries
• Manage call off orders for type 1, shingle, sand in conjunction with the site team.

Essential

• Full UK driving licence
• CSCS card
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook
• Previous storesperson / manager experience
• Good understanding of COSHH, LOLER, PUWER (preferable)
• EUSR Clean Water Hygiene (preferable)
• Abrasive wheels (preferable)
• SSSTS or SMSTS (preferable)
