We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at Vertu Hyundai Bristol, where you’ll play an important role in supporting the financial performance of the dealership while developing your own career within one of the UK’s largest motor retail groups.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working closely with the dealership management team, you’ll provide accurate and insightful financial information to support commercial decision-making.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Producing monthly management accounts
• Preparing forecasts and estimates
• Supporting payroll processing
• Managing accruals and prepayments
• Cashflow management
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconciling manufacturer bonuses
• Producing spreadsheets, reports and financial analysis for the management team
• Supporting and developing colleagues within the finance team
• Working with operational leaders to understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Experience as a Management Accountant or Assistant Accountant
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The confidence to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
• Motor trade experience and knowledge of Kerridge or a similar dealership management system, although this is not essential
