Your Profile
‘You roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty’. ‘You enjoy transforming varied equipment into serviceable pieces of kit for our customers to hire’: It's you, so you fit into our orange team. To also become the best at Boels Rental as a mobile Plant & Tool Fitter, you have to:
- Have a high level of mechanical, diagnostic and fault-finding skills, coupled with the ability to work quickly and effectively to minimise delays on site. (You love pulling kit apart, finding the issue and repairing it back to full serviceability)
- Be able to work independently, and make decisions, without direct supervision. (You have a superb knowledge of plant equipment and small tools and you proactively 'crack-on' and get the job done!)
- Have proven experience of repairing plant equipment and small tools. (Perhaps you have worked for one of our competitors in the past or you just know plant machinery inside-out and back-to-front!)
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence. (You might need to jump into the Boels van and pop over to a customer's site to quickly rectify a technical issue)
- Have valid proof of your right to work in the UK – (Boels does not arrange relocation, work visas or provide visa sponsorship)
