Balfour Beatty is building the skilled workforce that will help deliver the Building Fitout works on Net Zero Teesside Power, and we're looking to hear from experienced Electricians interested in joining us

Net Zero Teesside Power is a major part of the UK's transition towards a lower-carbon energy future, bringing together power generation and carbon capture technology on a major scale, creating an exciting new chapter for energy and engineering on Teesside.

This is an opportunity to bring your electrical installation experience to a major engineering and construction programme and play a hands-on role in delivering new UK energy infrastructure

This is a site based role in Teesside.

What you'll be doing

We're looking to connect with experienced Electricians as we prepare our Building Fitout workforce for the next stages of the project in early 2027.

We're particularly interested in people with experience delivering electrical installations across major construction, building services, industrial, power or engineering projects.

Your Experience Might Include

Electrical installation within commercial or industrial buildings
Cable containment systems
Cable installation, dressing and termination
Distribution and power systems
Lighting and small power
Earthing and bonding
Installation of electrical equipment
Working from drawings and electrical specifications
Testing, completion and commissioning support
Working alongside other building services trades

Who we're looking for

You'll be an experienced Electrician who takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality installations.

We're Keen To Hear From People Who Can Demonstrate

Previous electrical installation experience within a construction, building services or industrial environment
The ability to work accurately from drawings and specifications
Strong understanding of electrical installation practices
A safety-first approach
Commitment to quality and right-first-time delivery
The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary construction team
Pride in delivering a high standard of workmanship
