- Introducing new playground games, creative activities and friendly challenges.
- Helping children build friendships, share, take turns and work together through play.
- Encouraging children of all abilities, including those with SEND, to participate and feel included.
- Working with the lunchtime team to develop welcoming, engaging play spaces and make good use of equipment.
- Offering gentle support when children need help joining in or resolving disagreements.
- Helping to keep children safe, happy and cared for throughout lunchtime.
- Deal with incidents of inappropriate or challenging behaviour immediately, calmly, and effectively in strict accordance with the School’s Behaviour Policy.
- De-escalate minor conflicts between pupils and maintain accurate, detailed logs of any behaviour incidents
