- Contribute to implementing automation to reduce manual administration and improve efficiency.
- Streamlining order-to-cash workflows, working closely with Sales, Account Management, Operations and Vendor Management.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer communications, invoice statuses and payment commitments.
- Providing regular updates on outstanding invoices, payment performance and process improvements.
What are we looking for?
- A proactive, self-motivated individual who takes ownership and can hit the ground running.
- Someone who is confident picking up the phone to speak with customers, resolve billing queries and secure outstanding payments.
- A problem-solver who can investigate discrepancies, identify root causes and find practical solutions.
- Someone who enjoys improving processes, challenging existing ways of working and finding opportunities to automate manual tasks.
- A strong communicator who can build effective relationships with customers and stakeholders across the business.
- An organised and analytical individual who can manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Someone comfortable working autonomously, driving improvements and taking responsibility for delivering results.
Our Requirements
- At least five years’ experience in finance operations, accounts receivable or credit control.
- Proven experience managing customer invoicing, payment collections and outstanding balances.
- Demonstrable experience improving processes and implementing automation or workflow efficiencies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively and collaborate with teams across the business.
Other skills/qualifications – (Desirable, not mandatory)
