Planner

Role Overview

We're looking for a Planner / Scheduler to join our team and play a key role in coordinating production plans, schedules and forecasts across the site. Working closely with operational teams, you'll help balance customer demand, production capacity, stock availability and labour requirements to ensure products are delivered efficiently and on time.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planning professional who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment and enjoys working collaboratively across multiple functions to achieve business objectives.

Key Duties.

• Support the Senior Planner with all planning, scheduling and forecasting activities.
• Develop and maintain production and packing plans to meet customer demand and business objectives.
• Analyse management information and planning data to identify priorities, risks and opportunities.
• Ensure production schedules, labour plans and resource requirements are aligned and communicated effectively.
• Monitor stock availability and proactively identify potential supply or production constraints.
• Support planning requirements for product launches, trials and other business initiatives.
• Work closely with Production, Technical, Engineering, Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure plans remain achievable and effective.
• Participate in daily operational meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain planning accuracy and ensure key performance measures are reviewed and acted upon.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous Planning, Scheduling or Supply Chain experience within an FMCG environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using planning systems and ERP platforms such as SAP.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• The confidence to challenge, influence and make informed decisions.
