We’re looking for a passionate ambitious and inspirational Teacher of Maths and Year Leader to join our team at Carleton High School. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring middle leader to combine excellent classroom practice with strategic leadership of a designated year group.

As Teacher of Maths and Year Leader, you will:

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that inspire, challenge and support all learners.
• Provide strategic leadership for a designated year group in line with the school’s vision and values.
• Lead and support a team or form tutors to ensure consistent implantation of school systems and expectations.
• Monitor attendance, behaviour, attainment and progress, implementing effective interventions where required.
• Promote high standards of conduct, punctuality and achievement across the year group.

• Is an outstanding and ambitious classroom practitioner with a passion for Maths.
• Has the drive to raise standards and maintain high expectations for all students.
• Can inspire, motivate and support young people to achieve their full potential.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Contract Details

• Permanent 1 FTE contract
• To start 01 January 2027
