English Teacher looking for your next challenge?

We're working with a specialist education provider seeking a passionate and driven teacher to join their team, delivering high-quality English lessons to young people with SEND, SEMH and additional learning needs.

This isn't just a teaching role. For the right person, there is also the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities, helping to shape curriculum delivery, literacy interventions and teaching and learning across the provision.

The Role: Teach English to students with a range of SEND and SEMH needs

Deliver engaging, adaptive and trauma-informed lessons

Support students to build confidence, resilience and independence

Create meaningful learning opportunities tailored to individual needs

Work closely with pastoral, safeguarding and therapeutic teams

Contribute to EHCP reviews, progress tracking and personalised learning plans

Leadership Opportunities Include: Leading literacy and academic intervention programmes

Developing strategies to close learning gaps

Supporting curriculum development and quality improvement

Monitoring student progress and intervention impact

Leading on English and literacy across the provision

Working alongside senior leaders to drive outcomes

We're Looking For Someone Who: Holds QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)

Has experience working with SEND, SEMH or vulnerable learners

Builds strong, positive relationships with young people

Understands trauma-informed and relational approaches

Can adapt teaching to suit individual learning needs

Has strong behaviour management and communication skills

Is passionate about making a genuine difference
