Assistant Educational Psychologist 1.0 - 3 Posts

(Temporary from November 2026 – August 2027)

Rhondda Cynon Taf Access and Inclusion Service are seeking to appoint a 1.0 fte Assistant Educational Psychologist to work alongside a qualified Educational Psychologist to support the learning, development and emotional wellbeing of children and young people (0-25).

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a range of professionals, to develop strategies that will enhance the quality of children, young people's and families lives, learning and well-being. The role will potentially encompass project work, action-based research, training, as well as direct work with schools.

Regular individual and group supervision and a range of CPD opportunities will be provided from Rhondda Cynon Taf Educational Psychology Service.

This is a temporary (until August 2027). The post will be available from November 2026.

Protecting children and vulnerable adults is a core responsibility of all staff appointed to the Council.
