Profile Summary

The Production Operator is responsible for the manufacture of hose materials and finished hose products in accordance with company operating procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role involves operating production equipment and machinery, maintaining accurate production records, and ensuring all products are manufactured to the required specifications while contributing to a safe, efficient, and organised manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Manufacture hose materials and finished hose products in accordance with approved procedures and work instructions.
• Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Risk Assessments, and established working practices at all times.
• Support production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Perform any other duties reasonably requested by the Shift Lead, Supervisor, or Operations Manager.

Quality

• Comply with ISO 9001 and API Q1 quality management system requirements.
• Ensure manufacturing activities are completed in accordance with approved specifications and product requirements.
• Accurately record and maintain production and quality-related documentation.
• Report product, process, or system non-conformities promptly through the appropriate channels.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Health, Safety and Environment

• Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and standards.
• Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.
• Report hazards, unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses promptly.
• Contribute to a positive safety culture by following safe systems of work.

The Production Operator plays a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to procedures, and a strong commitment to operational excellence.

• No regular travel is required. Occasional travel for training purposes may be required.
