Location: This role is based across our Worcester and Bromsgrove locations and may involve occasional travel to other business locations or external training venues.

The Role

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our Quality & Regulatory team, supporting the day-to-day running of quality control activities across our operations.

Working closely with the Quality Control Supervisor and colleagues across Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Purchasing and Customer Services, you will help ensure that products, materials, and processes meet the required specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.

This is a hands-on role that would suit someone with excellent attention to detail, a methodical approach, and an interest in quality within a regulated environment, particularly medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

· Inspect, record and release parts against specifications and samples.

· Identify and report quality issues and specification discrepancies.

· Inspect and process returned goods, materials, and product rejections.

· Prepare glue formulations for cleanroom manufacturing.

· Carry out calibration of measuring equipment.

· Manage quarantine areas and associated inventory.

· Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and documentation.

· Review supplier Certificates of Conformance and cleaning records.

· Manage disposal of products where required.

· Maintain technical drawings and quality documentation in line with retention requirements.

· Support internal and process audits.

· Raise CAPAs and non-conformities and support root-cause investigations.

· Assist with product testing and technical activities.

· Work in accordance with GMP, GDP and applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

· Follow documented procedures and report deviations or process issues.

· Complete required training and support the wider Quality & Regulatory team.

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and highly attentive to detail, with the ability to work accurately within a regulated environment.

You will have

· GCSE-level education or equivalent.

· 2 years experience in a quality, inspection, or regulated environment.

· Knowledge of medical devices is desirable.

· Experience with measuring equipment is desirable.

· Auditing experience is desirable.

· Strong ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.

· Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

· Full UK driving licence.

Knowledge of, or experience working within, the following would be advantageous:

· ISO 13485

· ISO 14001

· Medical Device Regulations

· GMP and GDP

· Health & Safety requirements
