We are looking for a Head of Positive Behaviour Support to lead our team of PBS practitioners and take

Aspire, our PBS strategy, into its next stage.

Glenholme supports people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs across 22 supported living services, from Lincoln and Peterborough through Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and North London to Brighton. This is an opportunity to influence how those services grow and, most importantly, how people experience support in their own homes and communities.

You will give Aspire clear direction, develop our practitioners and work alongside operational leaders to make PBS part of everyday practice. Your focus will be on understanding each person, improving their quality of life and helping teams provide consistent, thoughtful support.

Your role

Lead, supervise and develop the PBS practitioner team, with clear standards for practice and professional growth.
Shape and deliver Aspire across our services, working closely with the Director of Quality.
Oversee the quality of functional assessments, PBS plans and reviews, and support teams to put plans into practice.
Coach managers and staff to understand behaviour, prevent distress and reduce restrictive practices.
Bring specialist advice to complex situations, new services and transitions.
Work with people we support, families and professionals to ensure support reflects each person's goals, choices and needs.
Use outcomes, feedback and learning to improve practice across the organisation.
Shape and lead on our training and coaching on PBS

About You

You will have substantial experience in Positive Behaviour Support with people who have learning disabilities, autism or complex needs. You will have led or supervised practitioners and know how to develop a team while maintaining strong oversight of its work.

You will hold an advanced PBS qualification or a relevant professional qualification supported by substantial PBS training and supervised practice. This might include a PBS Practice Leadership Diploma, a postgraduate PBS qualification, or a qualification in psychology, behaviour analysis or another relevant clinical discipline. We welcome equivalent routes where you can demonstrate the skills needed to oversee and develop specialist practitioners.

You will bring sound judgement, collaborative leadership and a commitment to making a measurable difference to people's quality of life. Regular travel across our services is an essential part of the role.
