Secondary Teachers across all subjects to provide flexible supply cover in schools throughout Torquay.

You choose your availability. We help connect you with schools that need reliable teachers to keep learning moving when permanent members of staff are absent.

What Does Supply Teaching Involve?

You'll step into established classrooms and provide professional, reliable teaching cover.

Work will generally be provided for you, so your focus will be on delivering the lesson, engaging pupils and maintaining a productive classroom environment.

You'll Be Responsible For

• Delivering pre-planned secondary lessons.
• Providing subject-specific and general classroom cover.
• Managing behaviour in line with school expectations.
• Keeping pupils engaged with the work provided.
• Supporting a positive learning environment.
• Following safeguarding and school procedures.
• Adapting quickly to different year groups and settings.
• Providing feedback following assignments.

We'd Like to Hear From You If You:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience within secondary education.
• Have confident classroom-management skills.
• Can quickly build rapport with pupils.
• Are reliable and adaptable.
• Enjoy the variety of working across different schools.

Teachers from all subjects are encouraged to apply, including ECTs and experienced practitioners.
