Job Title: Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer

Location: Pontefract

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

We are recruiting for a Graduate Civil/Structural Engineering and looking for a role where you can develop, learn and make your mark

Joining a well established Yorkshire engineering consultancy where you will work alongside experienced engineers on a varied portfolio of residential, commercial, civil and industrial projects

What You Will Be Doing As A Graduate Civil/Structural Engineering

• Get hands on with structural analysis, design and engineering calculations across steel, concrete, timber and masonry
• Produce calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports
• Gain valuable site experience through inspections, surveys and structural assessments
• Work closely with experienced engineers and technicians, learning from their expertise
• Contribute to projects from initial design through to completion
• Develop practical and efficient engineering solutions
• Build your confidence working with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders
• Take on increasing responsibility as your knowledge and experience grows

What We Are Looking For

• BSc Civil Engineering or relevant MSc in Civil / Structural Engineering
• A solid understanding of structural engineering principles.
• Knowledge of UK design codes and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and a desire to produce high quality work
• A positive, proactive attitude and genuine ambition to develop
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
