Balfour Beatty is seeking a dynamic

Rigger to contribute to the Net Zero Teesside (NZT) project based at our site in Redcar and Cleveland.

Role purpose: To provide dimensionally accurate rigging/erecting support for on-site project work.

What you'll be doing

• Reading out and interpreting drawings, symbols and specifications
• Safely attaching loads to cranes, rigging equipment and overseeing lifting operations
• Extracting information from sources such as method statements and engineering drawings to establish the most appropriate method of moving loads
• Utilising specialist equipment to lift and position loads, including loads from various plant and equipment to structural steel

• Support the delivery of CSUK’s Sustainability activities

Who we're looking for

• Must have a valid CCNSG
• Evidence of Competency as a tradesman (City & Guilds/NVQ/ACE)
• Have the ability to interpret specifications and engineering drawing
