Waking Night Support Worker - Children and Young Adults

Aspris

Coming in early 2027, we will be opening a specialist solo placement home in Ayrshire!

Situated in the grounds of our 5 bedded Children's Home, we will be able to provide care to young people up to age 21. These placements will allow the young people within our care to live in an independent style setting, whilst being supported by Aspris staff so that they will flourish in the wider world once they become care leavers. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, stable and caring environment where young people feel cared for. We have a large spacious house and garden, devoting our time building positive relationships, helping our children and young people to thrive and reach their full potential.

As part of our work, we are committed to help support the transformation of how Scotland cares. This is guided by the national initiative The Promise which ensure that children and young people grow up loved, safe and respected so that they realise their full potential. This principle sits at the heart of everything we do and shapes the way we support young people, families and communities across Scotland.

Whilst this location is not currently open, we are committed to ensuring that our staff will complete all training required, and that this time prior to the admittance of young people will be important to creating a stable staffing team.

Due to the nature of this role, you will need a full UK driving license for this position.

At Aspris, we want every young person to feel understood, supported, and ready to take on the world. That’s why our homes are shaped around the needs of each child - this ensures that all of our young people get the support that’s shaped around their strengths, challenges, and goals.
