Senior Recruitment Adviser

As part of our ambitious Talent Acquisition team, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting and securing the legal talent that will help shape the future of Weightmans. From partner hiring and headhunting to market mapping and recruitment innovation, you'll be trusted to drive complex, high profile recruitment campaigns and build relationships with some of the firm's most senior stakeholders.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage own caseload of vacancies for a range of Senior roles across the firm such as Partners and Legal Directors as well as providing support for other positions as required
- Partner with hiring managers and partners to design tailored, inclusive recruitment processes aligned with business needs.
- Successfully deliver end to end recruitment processes for Partner positions
- Conduct market mapping and headhunting activity
- Planning recruitment campaigns and selecting appropriate attraction methods
- Ensure the Applicant Tracking System is used effectively, and all partner roles are approved and inputted with accuracy
- Create and actively manage talent pools, with a particular focus on direct hiring
- Use job boards, social media and talent pools to actively seek and engage with candidates directly
- Work with and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, including hiring managers, candidates, colleagues and recruitment agency consultants
- Keep recruiting/line managers regularly updated on progress, responding promptly to queries and proactively addressing any issues or delays
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Lead offer discussions and negotiations and negotiations
- Manage the agency preferred supplier list (PSL), including negotiating rates and ensuring that agreed rates and requirements are consistently complied withs
- Gain an understanding of the local candidate markets in the regions we operate within to ensure the correct sourcing methods are utilised
- Seek to identify ways to improve the recruitment process and lead projects to deliver meaningful change
- Work with the HR coordinators in order to produce offer documents and related materials
- Conduct brand and profile-raising initiatives
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports as required
- Keep up to date with developments in HR practice and employment law, maintaining current knowledge in both areas
- Work in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation
