This November, we’re opening our tenth, and biggest Caravan at the Southbank. And we’re looking for an exceptional Door Host who knows how to kick things off with an awesome hello & can awe from the very first impression! We’re after someone kind, confident, high-energy and genuinely passionate about what they do. Someone who knows how to own a wait list, manage a queue and gets a kick out working in a team to give everyone who walks through the door, the best experience possible.

You’ll be joining Caravan as we open a special new restaurant, with two floors, multiple bars and plenty of opportunity to make your mark from day one.

The role

As Door Host, you’ll work with all departments to make sure every guest’s journey runs beautifully whenever you’re in the building. That means engaging in the Caravan culture, hospitality, adding special moments, and making sure every one of your guests that leaves the restaurant has the best experience possible.

What You'll Be Doing As Door Host

• Starting the guest journey with a bang! Engaging with passersby and using your genuine personality to make everyone feel welcome
• Taking full ownership of the door and helping create the kind of hospitality people want to come back for
• Developing your own skills & knowledge and sharing that knowledge with your team
• Supporting all your colleagues; making sure everyone feels welcome, and smashing each service as a team
• Working closely with the wider restaurant team to give every guest the best experience possible
