Billing Coordinator

Based in Bristol within the Finance Team, this role would see the candidate work within the Billing team to assist with the timely and accurate production of invoices for our clients and other vested third parties. The role will involve a dynamic workload working around tight deadlines to meet the service level agreements and expectations of our clients. The role provides the opportunity to gain experience in a unique financial environment within a Top 100 law firm.

The role

• Accurate and timely production of bills
• Use of third party billing platforms to submit electronic invoices to clients
• Effective resolution of billing queries from both internal and external sources
• Creation, interpretation and distribution of client reports
• Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks throughout the month

What we are looking for from you

• Previous billing experience, ideally within a legal environment
• Customer service focused
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A good understanding of VAT and VAT rules
• A working knowledge of the Solicitors Accounting Rules (desirable)
• Good MS Excel skills
• Willingness to be flexible around changing deadlines
• Team player with a willingness to help across other roles when required
• Knowledge of TRE, Elite 3e (desirable)
• Ability to deliver results under pressure
