We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Medical

Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a commercially successful and well-established private patient GP and Health Centre in the City Centre of Glasgow.

As Practice Manager, you will be our registered manager, have overall responsibility for the operational management of the practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality private patient services, achievement of productivity and financial targets, and the effective partnership with a multidisciplinary employed team.

What You'll Do

As our new Practice Manager, you will:

  • Lead the operational management of a busy and successful private GP and Health Centre. Offering private patient GP services, Comprehensive Health-screening services, Nursing, Psychology and Physiotherapy.
  • Take ownership of practice performance, ensuring delivery against key operational, financial and productivity objectives. Partnering GPs, Clinical Colleagues and Administrative personnel.
  • Manage practice budgets, forecasts and financial performance to ensure commercial success. Including engagement with Corporate Clients.
  • Analyse performance data and implement strategies to improve efficiency, utilisation and profitability.
  • Drive excellent patient experience standards and ensure delivery of outstanding customer service for all services provided in the health centre.
  • Lead, train, recruit, induct, manage and motivate existing and new joining team members, fostering a high-performance culture, associated to the HCA Healthcare Brand reputation.
  • Ensure effective workforce planning, resource allocation and service delivery, feeding into our London Based Primary Care Head Office.
  • Work closely with clinicians and senior stakeholders in the HCA group to optimise patient pathways and operational processes.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance, governance requirements and health and safety standards.
  • Monitor and improve operational KPIs, patient satisfaction metrics and service quality indicators.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to support business growth and operational excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and act as a key ambassador for the practice. Including our Corporate Clients.

What You'll Bring

We are looking for a confident, commercially focused healthcare leader who can balance exceptional patient care with strong business performance.

You Will Possess

  • Previous experience as a Practice Manager, in a GP or Medical Health Centre/Clinic environment.
  • Working knowledge of the Scottish GP Primary Care market, local and national healthcare governance, compliance and quality standards.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and developing high-performing teams. Including people management. Recruiting, Inducting, mentoring, managing performance, conduct and behaviour.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Track record partnering GPs and other MDTs. Building a culture of collaboration, praise, recognition, growth and respect.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data on productivity and efficiency of resources.
