Bury Grammar School is seeking to appoint a capable and committed Primary Division Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day catering operations within our Primary Division.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated catering professional to play a key role in delivering a high-quality food service to pupils and staff while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, nutrition and customer care.

Working within a busy school environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, supporting and supervising catering staff, and ensuring pupils receive nutritious, well-presented meals in a safe and welcoming environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience within a catering or kitchen supervisory role.
• Possesses a strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and allergen management requirements.
• Has experience of menu planning, stock control and food ordering.
• Demonstrates excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Has the ability to oversee, motivate and support a team effectively.
• Takes pride in delivering high standards of food quality and customer service.
• Works well under pressure and remains calm in a busy environment.
• Is proactive, reliable and able to use initiative.
• Has a commitment to promoting healthy eating and positive dining experiences for young people.
